New York Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support asset management initiatives within a financial services environment. This role partners closely with business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions across the full trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with key stakeholders

Support the full order and trade lifecycle, including pre-trade, execution, and post-trade

Manage and refine backlogs, participate in grooming, and collaborate with engineering teams

Use Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence) to support delivery

Perform SQL-based data analysis and validation for reporting and insights

Communicate requirements and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders

Required

Strong asset management experience across portfolio management, trading, confirmation & settlement, and regulatory/client reporting

Solid understanding of financial products, preferably fixed income

Deep knowledge of order and trade lifecycle workflows

Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation in Agile environments

Strong SQL and data analysis skills (required); Python exposure a plus

Self-starter with strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred

Experience with BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River Development (CRD)

Bloomberg experience

Archer IMS exposure
