Fiscal Assistant II- Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

Responsible for working with suppliers to review statements and collaborating with the myUF Marketplace team to ensure timely and accurate processing
Provides support to the Accounts Payable team by assisting with various tasks
Assist in monitoring Marketplace queues for processing needs, as well as responding to Salesforce inquiries
Works collaboratively with the Procurement team to ensure timely supplier payment and assists in resolving issues related to payments, vouchers, and invoices
Partners with Procurement, UFIT, and the myUF Marketplace team to address supplier sync issues and contributes ideas to improve workflow efficiency
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Accounts PayableBookkeeping principlesFiscal record reconciliationEffective communicationOrganizational skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience
Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience

Preferred

Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Knowledge of basic arithmetic, office procedures and practices
Knowledge of basic filing practices
Ability to reconcile fiscal records
Ability to maintain fiscal records
Ability to compile fiscal data
Ability to work independently
Ability to review fiscal data for accuracy and completeness
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to an accounting system
