Responsibilities
Manages and responds to Tier 1 employee escalations via telephone or Case Management system
Answers simpler requests/questions from GSN ticketing queue or assigns to members of the team as appropriate
Processes Vendor Invoices
Completes and responds to Garnishment/Child Support Orders, including scanning of documentation
Verifies Income/Employment via Equifax
Sorts/handles inbound mail
Supports processing team with manual check distributions
Collaborates on special projects as needed or requested by management
Leverages subject matter expertise to support customer inquiries while providing education on tools, process and policy, and source documentation
Provides recommendations for process improvements and possible solutions to meet business needs
Follows and maintains internal control policies, procedures and compliance with respect to the payroll process
Responsible for managing a work queue ensuring that work is managed within SLA’s
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with peers and managers across HR and Payroll Operations function and other lines of business
Responds to phone and email inquiries providing policy advice and instruction
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or equivalent
1+ years of payroll experience, including expertise in a multi-state payroll environment
Knowledge of ADP Vantage and Kronos Timekeeping, or similar time and attendance and payroll applications
Ability to gather, analyze and interpret information for completeness and accuracy
Communication skills (oral & written); ability to effectively interact with others at all levels
Excel Skills
Three to five (3-5+) years of experience in payroll, multi-state payroll processing preferred
Working knowledge of payroll practices, including local, state, and federal policies and regulations
Functional knowledge of automated large scale payroll application like ADP ProBusiness
Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data
Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish speaking), preferred, but not required
Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred
