Responsibilities
Manage and successfully clear check request and invoice queues daily
Maintain manual check request database by confirming receipt of overnight files, uploading check request activities and populating requests submitted via email
Validate payees and payments by comparing against the claims systems
Ensure that approvals are secured from appropriate employees
Provide customer service by responding to and closing-out daily inquiries
Conduct audits to ensure financial transactions are accurate, timely and comply with company policy
Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies and suggest appropriate corrective procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support Accounts Payable and Cash Disbursement operations
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school diploma or GED
Requires at least 1 year of related accounts payable/receivable experience
Proven experience working in fast-paced environments managing multiple tasks efficiently
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Intermediate skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
Strong problem-solving skills, and basic accounting knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred
Minimum two years of professional experience in operational areas such as Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursing, or Customer Service preferred
Training in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a plus
Proficiency in Concur and Oracle expense, invoice, and/or vendor maintenance processing experience is desirable
Proficiency in MS Access for database maintenance preferred
