Project Manager- Cleared Top Secret
Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team, focusing on projects related to Operational Technology (OT) systems. The role involves planning, executing, and delivering OT projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end OT system projects from initiation through commissioning and handover
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues impacting scope, timeline, or cost
Coordinate internal teams, system integrators, vendors, and contractors
Oversee deployment, upgrades, and integration of OT systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS, HMI, historians, networks)
Ensure system designs align with operational requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activities
Manage system documentation, configuration management, and change control
Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure OT systems meet security requirements
Support implementation of OT cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST)
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and industry regulations
Act as the primary point of contact for OT project stakeholders
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and operations teams
Align project outcomes with business and operational goals
Identify opportunities to standardize OT architectures, tools, and processes
Capture lessons learned and contribute to best practices for OT project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of project management experience in OT, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with OT systems such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS, or industrial networks
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Top Secret security clearance
Ability to commute to Richmond, VA 23230
Preferred
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
Experience with OT cybersecurity and compliance standards
Background in regulated or safety-critical industries (manufacturing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, pharma)
Familiarity with system integrators and vendor management
