Responsibilities
Managing training programs at the NEIDL and other related programs under the direction of the Director / NEIDL Chief Safety Officer
Supervising the NEIDL Trainer position as well as contracted vendors providing training
Supporting others in EHS leadership to ensure that the NEIDL is compliant with federal and local training requirements
Responsible for a broad training program involving in-person and online training, mentoring, managing drills/exercises, working with multiple systems and those that manage them
Interacting with multiple internal and external committees including those led by the Boston Public Health Commission
Qualification
Required
B.A./B.S
self-motivation and ability to work independently
project management skills
ability to manage program development involving multiple individuals
availability for a 24 hour/7 day position that supports EHS response team members and BU incident commanders as needed
Five years of emergency management or related experience
