Responsibilities

Shadow the Project Manager leading new building construction, building renovation, and equipment installations
Coordinate and input drawings and project files for database archives
Update AutoCAD drawings based on completed projects & field assessments
Participate on review team for design portion of facilities projects
Review and provide input for statement of work of construction related vendors and project
Participate in design reviews and/or facilitate A/E vendor support of design reviews
Attend project meetings with internal customers for design related questions and requests
Gain experience with requesting quotes, placing purchase orders, and processing invoices for contractors
Gain experience interacting with contractors in a project manager relationship
Gather, review and document facilities design standard information including furniture, fixture, equipment and building engineering disciplines

Required

Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2026
Be majoring in Construction of Facilities Management, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Good presentation and writing/communication skills
Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups
Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects
Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch
