Senior Civil Engineer
Responsibilities
Manages project engineers schedule and work-load effectively and efficiently. Has the ability to teach project engineers and answer questions
Has the ability to perform computer aided drafting and design using AutoCAD
Has the ability to perform engineering assignments and designs for simple to moderately complex land development projects
Has the ability to perform civil engineering evaluations and designs including: site selection and feasibility studies based on engineering parameters; conceptual layout of site engineering systems; site grading and earthwork balancing; hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for storm water management; roads, streets, sidewalks, driveways, parking and other vehicular connections; site utility infrastructure including storm drains, culverts, pipelines, drainage improvements, sanitary sewers, water mains, utility duct banks, and utility service coordination
Review permit applications for site design and construction approvals
Review construction documents including quantity and cost estimates, plans, specifications, and contractor submittals
Knowledge of local, state, and federal land use requirements to confirm project compliance
Familiarity with the location and use of reference and resource materials
Performs other duties as assigned

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
At least 6+ years of related civil site engineering and permitting experience in NH or New England
Proficiency in AutoCAD and HydroCAD software
The ability to communicate effectively and follow written/oral instructions
The ability to work in a timely manner and multi-task under rigid deadlines
The ability to contribute to and participate in a team environment
