VP of Sales(NY, LA, Seattle)
PulseAd is an emerging leader in AI-driven retail media, aiming to redefine how marketers work. The VP of Sales will lead the go-to-market strategy and build a sales organization to drive growth in the US market, managing key accounts and mentoring a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Roll up your sleeves in the early phase to directly manage key accounts and close deals while building the sales organization
Hire, train, and lead a high performing sales and customer success team as the business scales
Establish a performance driven culture with accountability and transparency
Build CRM processes and forecasting frameworks for predictable revenue growth
Mentor team members and cultivate future GTM leaders
Take a hands on role in early stage sales efforts to establish PulseAd’s presence and validate go to market playbooks
Build and execute the US go to market strategy across brands, agencies, and retail media platforms
Define target segments, positioning, and value propositions tailored to the US retail media landscape
Develop sales motions and pricing strategies for SaaS and managed service models
Collaborate closely with Product and Marketing to turn market feedback into actionable plans
Represent PulseAd in key industry events such as Amazon Unboxed, ShopTalk, and NRF
Lead strategic sales engagements with large scale brands and top marketplace sellers
Build executive relationships with retail media partners including Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and TikTok Shop
Personally lead early enterprise negotiations to secure anchor clients and partnerships
Drive multi channel campaign adoption and establish reference success stories
Qualification
Required
10 to 15 years of sales leadership experience in AdTech, Retail Media, or Marketing Technology
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling from early stage to double digit million ARR
Strong understanding of Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, TikTok Shop, and programmatic advertising
Experience building and managing high performing sales teams and GTM operations
Analytical and data driven mindset with deep knowledge of CRM and sales metrics
Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to build from scratch in a fast moving startup environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
