Responsibilities
Perform daily operations to monitor and maintain SAP systems, including applying patches, support pack upgrades, and system refreshes
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide capacity planning for the SAP landscape
Support and manage key system migrations (e.g., SLES15 migration, PI 7.4 to PO 7.5) and upgrades to S/4 HANA, NetWeaver, HANA, and other SAP systems
Collaborate with other IT teams, including networking, security, and infrastructure teams, to implement solutions that improve the reliability and performance of the SAP environment
Ensure SAP systems meet high availability and disaster recovery standards, with knowledge of Serviceguard being a plus
Provide 24/7 on-call support for system issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime
Create and maintain system documentation, including system design, requirements summaries, and troubleshooting guides
Assist in SAP landscape strategy through client copies, system refreshes, and managing system environments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including expertise in ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and S4 HANA
Hands-on experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects (e.g., upgrading to S4 HANA)
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues within the SAP environment
Familiarity with SAP systems and infrastructure design, including server and storage management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of ITIL best practices, incident response, and change control processes
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
