Responsibilities

Perform monthly independent price verification for fixed income and derivatives positions

Investment types include: corporate debt, preferred equity, convertible bonds, options, etc

Analyze and communicate key valuation issues to senior management and front office

Preparation of monthly Valuation Committee reports including executive summaries, detailed valuation results, ASC 820 leveling analysis and exception reports

Enhance the existing valuations infrastructure

Interface with front office to gather support for month end valuations

Evaluate prices provided by pricing vendors and initiate challenges

Continuously assess existing processes versus leading best practices and propose enhancements

Review valuation policies and procedures and recommend enhancements

Qualification

Required

Experience in valuations of fixed income and derivatives

Ability to perform monthly independent price verification for fixed income and derivatives positions

Experience in preparing monthly Valuation Committee reports including executive summaries, detailed valuation results, ASC 820 leveling analysis and exception reports
