Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and oversight of engineering staff
Support staff with the appropriate resources to solve problems
Track department schedules, working to identify key parameters and metrics to increase efficiency and reduce program costs
Plan manpower requirements, performing quarterly and annual performance reviews of staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree with 5 years of engineering experience & 2 years leadership experience OR Masters with 3 years of engineering experience & 2 years leadership experience
Experience creating work instructions and integration of design changes into the build package
Experience with cross-functional engagement and building relationships with internal and external customers
Must be have an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred
A Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field, or a Masters in a STEM field
Active DoD security clearance
Demonstrated work experience leading diverse teams and building teams from the ground up
Working knowledge of composite manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of continuous improvement
Demonstrated broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business and technical capabilities
