Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software development and Machine Learning professionals
Plan, coordinate, and oversee ML, telemetry, automation, and data‑pipeline engineering activities
Manage engineering capacity, performance, and sprint commitments
Oversee ML models, telemetry pipelines, automation workflows, cloud infrastructure and environmental logic
Guide design and implementation of integrations (Influx, Redis, CX Alloy, Oracle/ServiceNow, SCADA APIs)
Champion coding best practices, reproducibility, validation, and observability
Maintain engineering documentation and enforce production‑readiness standards
Collaborate with teams across QTS such as FacOps, QTSOS, Facilities, EHS, SCADA/Network teams
Align engineering deliverables with business priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
5+ years in ML, data pipelines, backend engineering, or systems integration
2+ years leading engineers
Experience deploying ML or data‑driven systems to production
Strong architectural and system‑design experience
Proficiency with Python, SQL, APIs, distributed processing
Preferred
8+ years in ML, data pipelines, backend engineering, or systems integration
Experience with telemetry/SCADA‑adjacent systems
Familiarity with Influx, Grafana, Redis
Experience with cloud‑based (AWS) ML workflows or model governance
Ability to triage issues across data, ML, and infrastructure
Strong documentation and communication skills
