Chief Student Experience & Equity Officer

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive, system-wide vision for student experience and equity encompassing safety, culture, engagement, athletic/academic competition, promotion and retention
Lead initiatives that ensure all students have access to supports, programs, and experiences that promote success, belonging, and growth. This includes, but is not limited to, Noble’s enrichment and advisory programming
Partner with school leaders to design student support systems, programs, and initiatives that foster social-emotional growth, positive behavior, and equitable access to opportunities
Ensure team’s initiatives are student-centered, equity-focused, data-informed, and scalable across campuses
Provide oversight of system-wide safety strategies and behavior management frameworks, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and alignment across campuses
Support schools in proactive strategies to prevent incidents, respond effectively to crises, and maintain secure and orderly environments
Analyze safety and culture data to identify trends, risks, and equity gaps, and implement interventions to address disparities
Shape a positive, inclusive, and equitable culture across all campuses, aligning behavior management, social-emotional supports, athletics, extracurricular programs, promotion, and retention policies and practices
Partner with Senior Directors to implement athletics, clubs, student leadership initiatives, and promotion processes that ensure equitable access, participation, and outcomes
Monitor metrics related to equity, engagement, participation, promotion, retention and school climate to inform strategy and continuous improvement
Equip school leaders, coaches, and staff with training, tools, and coaching to foster safe, equitable, and engaging environments
Promote professional growth in areas including equity, social-emotional learning, restorative practices, trauma-informed approaches, and student engagement
Ensure consistent communication and collaboration across student experience teams and with school leaders
Collaborate with Noble’s President, chiefs, principals, and other leaders to integrate student experience and equity initiatives with academics, operations, and innovation efforts
Build partnerships with external agencies, community organizations, and experts to enhance student experience, equity, and well-being
Communicate regularly with the CEO, Board, and stakeholders on student experience, equity, safety, engagement, and promotion outcomes

Required

Deep understanding of 6–12 student experience, school safety, student engagement, social-emotional learning, positive school culture, athletics, promotion, and retention processes
Demonstrated success coaching and supporting school leaders to implement effective student experience strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable solutions
Proven ability to lead time-sensitive emergency response and crisis management in a 24/7 operating environment, remaining calm, decisive, and effective during high-stakes situations and conflict
Skilled at navigating complex interpersonal dynamics while maintaining trust, clarity, and accountability
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to balance urgent, day-to-day demands with long-term strategic planning and vision-setting
Demonstrated ability to move beyond firefighting to design and execute sustainable systems that strengthen student experience over time
Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in education, leadership, or a related field preferred
At least 7 years of leadership experience in school safety, culture, student experience, or related roles in 6–12 education
Proven success improving school climate, student outcomes, and student engagement
