Responsibilities
Work with the Continuous Improvement Engineer and plant leadership to assist in completing a limited scope Continuous Improvement Project
Assist with creation of SOPs, job aids, etc. to drive continuous improvement throughout plant
Conducts research when asked and compiles information
Prepares documents and presentations for report at meetings regarding data analysis and process improvement efforts
Identifies, develops, and documents issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed
Develop a working knowledge of existing Plant processes and Coffee Manufacturing
May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Student at a four-year accredited college or university majoring in Engineering, preferably Industrial
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Ability to consistently follow directions and procedures
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred
Brings a process-oriented approach to continuously improve our team and plant performance
