Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in support of NAVSEA program offices, warfare centers, and shipyard activities
Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial, and program management teams to collect schedule inputs and validate task logic, dependencies, and resource requirements
Ensure schedule alignment with NAVSEA program baselines, technical instructions, contract deliverables, and major acquisition milestones
Conduct critical path analysis, schedule health assessments, and what‑if scenarios to support decision‑making and risk mitigation
Prepare schedule reports, metrics, and briefings for Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, and government stakeholders
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Technical Review Boards, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with schedule data and analysis
Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain program cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or program planning
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, including advanced scheduling, resource loading, and reporting functions
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (active clearance preferred)
Preferred
Experience supporting NAVSEA, a NAVSEA Program Executive Office (PEO), or a NAVSEA Warfare Center (e.g., NSWC, NUWC)
Understanding of shipbuilding, modernization, maintenance availability planning, or Navy engineering processes
Familiarity with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path methodology, and schedule risk analysis
Experience supporting programs under PEO Ships, PEO Submarines, PEO IWS, or PEO USC
Professional certifications such as PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent
