Responsibilities
Partner with operations and project management teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across utility construction projects
Monitor WIP, labor productivity, job tracking, and earned revenues
Monitor indirect operational expenses
Design, build, and maintain financial and operational reports through the use of SQL-based reporting and BI tools
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, scorecards and dashboards
Ensuring accounting/financial close deadlines are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or operations finance
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
Demonstrated experience creating financial reports using SQL reporting or BI tools
Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and project-based financials
Advanced Excel skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Preferred
CPA or MBA preferred
Accounting/Finance leadership experience strongly preferred
Construction industry experience preferred
