Responsibilities
Have administrative and clinical supervisory responsibilities over clinical and support staff including interviewing, selecting, training, assigning, directing, monitoring, and evaluating staff
Provide clinical direction and supervision to subordinate staff, which may include unlicensed clinicians, and/or student interns
Provide professional behavioral health services in accordance with State of California laws and regulations
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in biology, psychology, nursing, public health, social work, or a closely related field that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system
Three (3) years of full-time, paid post-licensure work experience providing direct behavioral health care services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Registered Nurse
Valid State of California license as a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Registered Nurse
Possession of a valid Class 'C' driver's license, or equivalent
Evidence of completing continuing education units required by the Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide clinical supervision to unlicensed registered Associates
Pass initial credentialing and re-credentialing requirements and maintain compliance at all times with state licensing credentialing requirements while occupying this classification
A valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number prior to their first day of employment and maintain a valid NPI throughout the duration of their tenure in this classification
Registered with the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) under the correct taxonomy
