CROSSMARK is seeking a Vice President of Finance specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and Investor Relations. This senior strategic finance leader will oversee the Finance aspects of Acosta’s M&A strategy and manage investor communications, ensuring alignment with enterprise valuation and strategic positioning.

Responsibilities
Serve as the enterprise-wide Finance leader for M&A
Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team to evaluate strategic opportunities and guide decision‑making
Translate complex financial, operational, and market insights into meaningful recommendations for executive and board-level discussions
Craft Earnings presentations and financial narrative for investor presentations. into our Acosta story in collaboration with Executive management and internal/external communications
Lead cross-functional due diligence across Finance, Accounting, Technology, HR, Legal, and Operations in partnership with Acosta Strategy team
Oversee and prepare rigorous financial modeling, synergy identification, business case development, and risk assessments
Govern enterprise-level integration strategy, ensuring cross-functional accountability, alignment, and timely execution across all workstreams
Cultivate strong relationships with external advisors including bankers, valuation firms, attorneys, consultants, and auditors
Support strategic life cycle of Acosta Group including future exit planning, and financial modeling
Serve as the primary owner of Acosta’s investor relations strategy and messaging
Develop and execute an annual investor relations plan, including earnings preparation, industry conference participation, and investor communications
Craft clear, compelling, and transparent investor-facing materials and financial narratives, including earnings commentary, investor decks, Q&A guidance, and strategic positioning
Prepare executive leadership for investor and analyst meetings, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging
Manage relationships with Private equity owner stakeholders, current and potential investors (lenders and potential equity stakeholders), analysts, and ratings agencies
Monitor and report on market trends, competitor financial performance, and investor sentiment
Provide highly polished, executive-level communication deliverables for internal and external audiences
Represent the organization in high-stakes discussions and external meetings with professionalism and authority
Synthesize complex data sets into simple, persuasive insights tailored to executive and investor audiences
Establish repeatable M&A processes, templates, integration frameworks, and governance routines to scale the Corporate Development function
Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across multiple concurrent initiatives
Oversee financial and operational tracking related to closing balance sheets, working capital adjustments, earnouts, escrow balances, and integration KPIs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline required
15+ years of progressive Finance, Corporate Development, M&A, or related experience
8+ years leading large-scale M&A transactions, financial due diligence, and business integrations
Experience operating at the executive level, advising C-suite leaders and boards of directors
Proven ability to shape corporate strategy and influence senior executives
Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of independence and executive judgment
Deep understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and purchase accounting
Ability to simplify complex financial insights for investor and board audiences
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence
Ability to develop high-impact external communications that reflect Acosta's strategic priorities
Strong interpersonal skills capable of navigating sensitive strategic conversations
Ability to build trust with executives, investors, advisors, and acquired teams
Expertise in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives—particularly integrations
Strong governance, prioritization, and project management skills
Preferred
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Prior Investor Relations leadership experience strongly preferred; alternatively, demonstrated experience in executive communications, corporate strategy, or external financial reporting
Big 4 Public Accounting experience preferred but not required at this level
