Responsibilities
Prepare, pack, and ship Windows 11 PCs to end users
Receive and unbox returned PCs from end users
Follow documented procedures (SOPs) to:
Reimage Windows 10 PCs to Windows 11
Apply required configuration steps as directed
Perform basic hardware tasks, including:
Hard drive replacements (in specific scenarios based on supervisor instructions)
General troubleshooting of PC boot/setup issues
Perform frequent data entry tasks to maintain accurate inventory records in the company asset management system
Communicate with end users as needed to provide remote assistance with first-time setup of new PCs
Maintain an organized workspace and follow handling procedures for IT equipment
Ability to lift and move boxed IT equipment (typically up to ~30 lbs)
Ability to stand, bend, and work hands-on with computers for extended periods
Ability to unpack, organize, and handle equipment safely and carefully
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktop/laptop components, peripherals, cables, etc.)
Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11
Comfort following step-by-step written instructions and procedures (SOPs)
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently
Proficient in spoken and written English (for end-user communication and ticketing/inventory notes)
Ability to work full-time on-site in Irving, TX, Monday–Friday
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of 1-year related experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience
