Commercial Mitigation Project Manager

ServiceMaster by Elevate is a leading provider of disaster restoration services, specializing in water damage, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and emergency response for residential and commercial properties. The PM will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project and informing the client, the adjuster and all concerned parties of the daily activities along with the general status of the project.

Responsibilities

Initial Damage Assessment walkthrough with client and conduct or attend meetings with clients, adjusters, consultants and necessary representatives as needed
Develop and implement Scope of Loss
Verify or order asbestos survey or necessary testing to ensure full compliance of any and all state or federal laws
Write Scope of work or proposal for client and insurance company/adjuster
Evaluate crew size, material and equipment needs and place orders to accommodate those needs
Procure subcontractors, vendors and casual laborers as needed
Maintain project schedule (Scope) developed with owner and insurance company
Maintain the project budget
Assign tasks to specific Supervisor, holding them accountable for quality and quantity on a daily basis
Oversee the documentation of all costs associated with the project
Conduct project meetings with Supervisors and field clerk outlining the scope of work
Ensures PMR is sent out daily and distribute to assigned parties. May also include photo reports
Verify invoicing schedule with client and follow up on outstanding payments
Verify all invoices are accounted for in accounting system, file, and invoicing system
Ensure fluid and efficient project closure and demobilization
Ensure photo documentation on each project is completed as necessary for each project
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Follow up / recap all communications with all on the communication list and place in the email communication sub folder in the job file
Review / Approve purchase requests and approve job coded purchases
Monitor and review job costs and cost tracking to ensure optimal margins
Available to travel 100 plus days out of the year
Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients

Required

Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field
5+ years of progressive mitigation experience
Experience in the residential or commercial restoration sector
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
