Responsibilities
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to the general ledger
Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries under supervision
AP/AR Support: Assist with invoice processing, customer payments, and related tasks
Financial Reporting: Help compile and prepare basic financial statements
Compliance: Assist with maintaining adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
Reporting: Prepare routine financial reports as needed
Audit Support: Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (minimal experience acceptable); OR an Associate degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
Solid foundational understanding of accounting principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
