Relationship Manager Corporate Banking
SoTalent is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of corporate clients. This role focuses on building long-term relationships, acquiring new business, managing credit needs, and delivering tailored financial solutions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main advisor for assigned corporate clients, ensuring high‑quality service and relationship growth
Meet or exceed individual sales, retention, and revenue targets while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and internal policies
Expand business through targeted prospecting, referrals, and cold outreach
Deliver a consultative, solutions‑focused approach to deepen client engagement
Independently review new and renewal loan requests and collaborate on underwriting with risk teams
Analyze financial conditions, industry trends, and borrower creditworthiness to support sound lending decisions
Negotiate loan structures and pricing based on risk, profitability, and market conditions
Monitor portfolio performance, track past‑due activity, and strengthen risk mitigation efforts
Ensure loan closings meet all procedural and documentation requirements
Work closely with Treasury, Risk, Client Service, and Product Specialists to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
Coordinate internal resources to meet the full spectrum of client needs, ensuring strong service delivery
Make day‑to‑day decisions regarding pricing, overdrafts, structuring, wires, and service requests within authorized limits
Provide timely reports and updates to leadership on portfolio trends and client performance
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of commercial lending or corporate banking experience
Strong foundation in accounting, finance, and credit analysis
Proven business development and relationship management skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (or relevant experience)
Preferred
Formal credit training from a regional or national financial institution
Strong marketing, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
Experience assessing financial conditions, market trends, and industry risks
