Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, robust test automation frameworks across multiple platforms
Drive innovation in automation tools, techniques, and processes to continually improve testing efficiency
Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) and feasibility studies for new automation tools and approaches
Establish meaningful metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure automation effectiveness
Lead QA activities across both functional and automation testing workstreams
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and define detailed testing scope
Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test estimations
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in automation testing and quality engineering
Strong hands on expertise with Playwright (Mandatory)
Strong hands on expertise with Karate Framework for API testing (Mandatory)
Strong hands on expertise with AWS Cloud (Mandatory)
Demonstrated experience in framework creation, solution development, and technical leadership
Strong understanding of CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and lead end to end QA initiatives
Preferred
Experience with Generative AI
Experience with Cucumber / BDD
Experience with Core Java
Experience with Typescript
Insurance domain knowledge (Commercial Business)—a plus, but not mandatory
Prior experience leading automation teams in large‑scale, distributed development environments
Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in QA processes
