Responsibilities
Identify design criteria and plan/execute effective site and land development designs
Serve as the primary client contact and lead plan processing with public agencies/jurisdictions
Support marketing and business development, including lead finding and pursuit of new work
Manage administrative and financial responsibilities, including:
Invoicing and project monitoring
Proposals, change orders, and budgeting support
Timecard approvals
Attending required internal and external meetings
Lead projects from entitlements through construction support, keeping scope, schedule, and quality on track
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline) from an accredited four-year college/university
10+ years of civil engineering design experience (land development required)
3+ years as a central design figure and mentor, overseeing workflow and leading project teams
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills
Proven ability to manage a land development project start-to-finish (entitlements through construction support)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
