Responsibilities
Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain network and sensor hardware to ensure optimal performance
Solution Development: Develop, plan, and implement network and sensor hardware solutions, layouts, and upgrades
Security Management: Implement and manage network security measures to protect our infrastructure
Issue Resolution: Resolve network and sensor hardware issues promptly and effectively
Physical Installation: Ability to climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices
Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
An active NSA TS/SCI Polygraph
12 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Bachelor's degree in network engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or information technologies from an accredited college or university is required
4 years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer within the last 3 years
Strong network architecture knowledge and experience
Proficiency in network switch administration
Experience with patching and upgrading network devices and applications
Network application troubleshooting skills
Hardware installation and cabling experience
Proficient with Linux; Linux system administration experience is a plus
Preferred
Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
Application administration and troubleshooting skills
Experience validating network throughput
Experience with monitoring tools
