$16.50/hr - $16.50/hrNexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Creative/Promo/Production Intern to provide an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Creative Services and marketing within a television station. The intern will assist in the production of news promotion, integrated sales content, and original web content while gaining hands-on experience and shadowing professionals.

Responsibilities
Assist News Topical producers with procuring materials needed for daily production
Help research developing stories
Help develop and create digital content
Assist with organizing footage
Learn how to write voice-over copy and baseball drop-in copy
Shadow and observe how the Writer/Producers create spots and how those spots are put together in the edit room
Help keep track of all the incoming materials, and potentially assist and coordinate shoots
Learn the process of how a promo gets to air
Qualification
Required
Some knowledge of Premiere and/or after effects is a plus
Good Writing Skills
Coursework and/or practical work in Writing – Arrive to the internship with a basic working understanding of AP style
Coursework and/or practical work in Video Editing – Arrive to the internship knowing how to use a timeline-based software editing program like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
Coursework and/or practical work in Video Acquisition – Arrive to the internship able to capture video, natural sound, and interviews on your phone or camera
Meeting Deadlines – Sense of Urgency and flexibility are Key
Able to multitask and attention to details a must
