Responsibilities
Support the Biostatistics, Clinical Analytics and Modelling (BCAM) team on the execution of real-world evidence studies and insights generation
Extract and analyze data from real-world data repositories such as medical claims, electronic health/medical records, lab results, census data, CDC surveys (e.g., NHANES) as well as internal systems of record to conduct a diverse range of analyses
Use programming languages such as SQL and R (Python to a less extent), as well as building dashboards and tools using Tableau
Qualification
Required
Must be a current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than May 2026) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor's degree
Experience with SQL and R required
Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred
A completed or in progress doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Computer Science or a related discipline preferred
Experience with datasets such as Optum, Komodo Health, IQVIA Ambulatory EMR, Pharmetrics Plus, and similar datasets is preferred
Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
