Responsibilities
Updating our Legislative/Regulatory Contacts Database
Entering meetings and actions into PolicyNote
Producing/Updating PolicyNote Reports for Compliance Department to assist with regulatory implementation projects
Help preparing lobbying registration reports and disclosures and PAC filings with outside counsel
Assisting with trade association membership applications and renewals
Researching policy issues and topics
Reviewing proposed bills and regulations during legislative sessions
Project managing/helping write and research regulatory comment letters and legislative testimony
Scheduling meetings and politician site visits to Pyramid facilities
Creating and updating collateral materials
Other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university masters program at the time of application
Knowledge of state laws and mandates as it relates to the healthcare industry
Technologically proficient
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Effective problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities
Professional, consistent, and ethical in all interactions
