Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business SMEs and Application Vendor teams to gather requirements for projects, upgrades, and enhancements
Develop Test Strategy ensuring coverage of critical business functions and defining test approaches
Create Test Plans with milestones for Functional, Regression, Integration, and End‑to‑End testing , aligned with program roadmaps and industry timelines
Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders for sprint planning and execution in Agile environments
Oversee test execution , track QA metrics, and proactively highlight risks/issues to Program Managers
Manage and prioritize defects with development teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution
Provide guidance on automation strategy for functional, regression, and integration testing
Maintain repository of test artifacts , perform internal reviews, and participate in SDLC process audits
Participate in release management and provide sign‑off confirming solutions meet end‑user requirements
Deliver under tight deadlines aligned with industry‑wide organizational timelines
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in high‑value payments across at least two markets: CHAPS, Target2, Lynx, RITS, CBPR+, CHATS, CHIPS, Fedwire
Excellent knowledge of ISO20022 messaging standards and guidelines
Deep understanding of payments clearing and settlement processes
Knowledge of end‑to‑end back office payments landscape: Core Banking, Accounting, Reconciliation, Sanctions Screening, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management
Experience working on large‑scale projects with distributed teams across multiple locations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Computer Science
12+ years of professional experience in QA/testing within payments domain
Certifications in Agile frameworks
Exposure to SWIFT messaging and Capital Markets
Hands‑on experience with JIRA and automation tools such as Selenium and Tricentis Tosca
