Responsibilities
Performing and reporting clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures, regulatory standards, and quality guidelines
Specimen handling, test analysis, result review and release, quality control, equipment maintenance, and documentation
Ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols
Identifying and resolving testing issues, reporting critical results, and maintaining accurate laboratory records
Participation in training, inspections, and ongoing quality and safety initiatives
Qualification
Required
Degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or Biology (or equivalent)
Eligibility for or possession of national certification (ASCP/AMT preferred)
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred
Strong knowledge of QC/QA, laboratory procedures, and computer systems
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and collaborate across departments
Strong customer service and confidentiality practices
Completion of required drug screening, immunizations, TB testing, respirator fit testing, and other credentialing
Preferred
Eligibility for or possession of national certification (ASCP/AMT preferred)
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred
