They are seeking a Business Analyst to create functional requirements for corrections software, document stakeholder requirements, and collaborate with various teams to enhance product offerings.

Responsibilities
Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software
Examine and document new or revised product, program, service, or process
Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
Partner closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams
Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry
Work in a fast-paced environment
Work on documentation, release notes and some other documents
Help Project Managers and Sales
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field
Professional certification in business analysis, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)
Experience with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analytics tools
Knowledge of development cycle including QA
Knowledge of Agile Development
Knowledge of corrections industry an asset
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to and accuracy
Experience with project management, methodologies, and tools
Understanding of business operations and financial management
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Strong organizational and time management skills
