Responsibilities
Read and follow work order specifications in order to cut and prepare designs in an accurate and timely fashion
Operate eagle cutting machines
Pull fabrics from stock
Load fabrics
Load programs and files to run specific designs
Remove cut pieces of fabric off conveyor belt
Place completed cut fabric into buckets and deliver to specified drop locations
Operate PLK machine
Basic machine setup
Align fabric onto hoop
Align embellishment onto hoop
Sew embellishment onto fabric
Put completed fabric into bucket and deliver to sewing department
Operate Embroidery machine
Basic machine setup
Learn Forte software
Align fabric onto hoop
Align embellishment onto hoop
Put completed fabric into bucket and deliver to sewing department
Kit buckets
Cut webbing per product requirements
Print product tags
Create Cutters work sheets
Stage buckets for next operation
Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, regulations, ISO procedures, lean Initiatives and lean events
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Maintain 5’S Program
Assist and Cross train in other departments, as needed, to ensure products are completed on time
Maintain Kanban System and participate in cycle counts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and to make metric system conversions
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to read, write, and understand instruction detail written and communicated in English
Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
Good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and supervisor
