Summer Intern, Software Engineering - SXM Connect
SiriusXM is a leading audio entertainment company in North America, seeking a Software Engineering Intern for their SiriusXM Connect organization. The intern will work with experienced engineers to develop new products and functionality, gaining hands-on experience in modern software and cloud development.

Responsibilities
Work directly as part of an engineering team that delivers new features and functionality with high quality and robust architecture which support SiriusXM Connect
Innovate to build performant solutions that continue to scale to the increasing demands of the business
Strive to develop simple solutions to complex problems, constantly seek ways to improve at every iteration, make suggestions for improvements
Participate in architecture and technical discussions
Learn and operate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Build cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS (components such as S3, Lambda, ECS, Dynamo, etc)
Use source control systems (Git and GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to continuously deploy applications to production
Qualification
Required
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
You must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a legal right to work in the US
Previous experience in software or cloud development - work projects, internships, summer jobs, etc
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Scala, Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript or Python
Majors in computer science or a related field preferred
