Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software engineering using Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript
Deliver high-quality code across the stack, from backend services to user-facing components
Work closely with product, design, and operational teams to shape core functionality
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture
Write clear technical documentation and specifications
Help define engineering best practices and influence team values and workflows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience (particularly Ruby on Rails)
Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, and scalable APIs
Willingness to work across the stack when needed: AWS, React, TypeScript, Next
Proven skills delivering production-ready software in a start-up SaaS environment
Curiosity to understand the Insurtech and AI industry with a desire to drive change
Preferred
Python, GraphQL, CI/CD, or infrastructure optimization
Contributions to open-source or personal technical projects
