ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SPECIALIST)

Responsibilities
Perform professional analytical accounting work in the establishment, maintenance, research, and analysis of accounts and financial records for the Revenue Section
Make considerable contacts with California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) offices, Budget Branch, Cashiers Section, State Controller’s Office (SCO), State Treasurer’s Office (STO), Bureau of State Audits (BSA), Department of Finance, and various State departments
Qualification
Required
This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S
Position requires employees to be fingerprinted and successfully pass a background investigation
To be considered, a completed Employee Application (STD-678) is required and MUST include all relevant experience: knowledge, skills, abilities, and other competencies, duties performed, 'to' and 'from' employment start and end dates (month/day/year), and hours worked per week for each position held
Failure to submit a completed STD-678 may result in elimination from the hiring process
In addition to submitting a STD-678, interested candidates must submit a resume and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
For classifications where the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) are based on meeting education requirements only: If education is required to meet the MQs please attach a copy of all of your transcripts that show the completion of the required education
Applicants who completed their education outside the United States (with foreign degrees/transcripts) must obtain and submit verification of United States course/degree equivalency by the time of appointment
