Responsibilities

Coordinate the implementation of new manufacturing processes, ensuring clear communication, documentation, and successful integration into production workflows
Coordinate and support the rollout of new distribution processes to improve fulfillment efficiency and product movement
Support ERP implementation and adoption initiatives, including process mapping, documentation updates, end-user training coordination, job aid creation, and first-line support for operational users during go-live and stabilization
Develop and maintain standard work, SOPs, and training materials related to manufacturing, distribution, and ERP process changes to ensure consistent execution and long-term sustainability
Maintain and drive accountability for operational action-item tracking, supporting project timelines, follow-ups, and reporting to ensure priorities and initiatives stay on schedule
Assist with production planning and scheduling to meet operational targets and ensure optimal use of labor, equipment, and material resources
Analyze production and distribution operations to identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities; support development and execution of improvement initiatives
Partner with the EHS team to support the implementation, communication, and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Supervise production team members during Saturday operations, providing direction, support, and problem resolution as needed
Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to assist with daily operational tasks, reporting, process tracking, and cross-department coordination
Maintain strong communication among departments including Production, Warehouse/Distribution, EHS, and Quality to ensure aligned priorities and consistent workflow
Support data collection, recordkeeping, and reporting related to production performance, labor utilization, and process changes
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment directed by the Company at all times
Demonstrate complete working knowledge of firearms safety
Maintain and keep workstation and department area clean
Immediately report any maintenance and/or safety issues to Management
Demonstrate a positive attitude toward co-workers, other department and the Company
Maintain respect, courtesy and professionalism toward all co-workers and the Company
Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and management
Actively participate and support the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis

Required

5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, scheduling, or operations support
Associate's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
Working knowledge of production planning, scheduling tools, and workflow management
Ability to interpret and follow SOPs, work instructions, and basic technical documentation
Strong organizational, communication, and cross-team coordination skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/MRP system experience a plus
Ability to work occasional weekends and serve in a supervisory role when required
Commitment to maintaining safety, compliance, and confidentiality requirements

Preferred

Experience in high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment preferred (firearms, aerospace, automotive, defense, or similar)
Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or other continuous improvement methods preferred
