Responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of six A/P professionals, providing day-to-day guidance, oversight, and performance support
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, credits, and vendor payments
Monitor aging, resolve discrepancies, and drive improvements related to past-due items and open credits
Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable and general ledger reconciliations
Maintain strong internal controls, including vendor master setup, documentation, and compliance with accounting policies
Identify opportunities to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen communication within the A/P function
Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships
Leverage SAP ECC to manage workflows, reporting, and transactional accuracy
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience at the Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager level
Proven experience managing and developing a team (this role oversees six direct reports)
Hands-on SAP ECC experience (required)
Bachelor's degree required
Strong understanding of internal controls, process documentation, and month-end close support
Preferred
Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
