Responsibilities
Manage complex insurance defense litigation matters from inception through trial
Draft pleadings, discovery, law and motion, and Case Management Orders
Appear in court and handle hearings and procedural matters
Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions
Coordinate with clients, insurance carriers, and expert witnesses
Analyze case strategy and provide detailed reporting to carriers
Attend site inspections and support all phases of trial preparation
Participate in first and second-chair trial opportunities
Qualification
Required
Active California Bar license in good standing
Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
Strong analytical, legal writing, and research skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfort managing a fast paced litigation docket with autonomy
Willingness to travel as required for litigation needs
