Talent Acquisition Specialist
Ascendo Resources is a certified minority-owned staffing firm seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiters by driving candidate generation. The role involves proactive sourcing of candidates, building talent pipelines, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet recruitment needs.
Responsibilities
Proactively source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, and other sourcing tools
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for multiple requisitions at once
Conduct initial outreach and engagement with potential candidates to assess interest and alignment
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly
Track and document all sourcing activity within the ATS and ensure candidate data is updated and accurate
Utilize creative sourcing techniques to uncover hard-to-find talent in competitive markets
Support diversity hiring efforts by sourcing from a wide range of talent pools
Meet daily and weekly sourcing activity targets to keep pipelines strong and moving
Qualification
Required
2+ years of proven hands-on sourcing experience — including active outreach, Boolean search, and sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and talent databases
Track record of building talent pipelines for multiple roles simultaneously
Strong written communication skills — you know how to craft compelling outreach messages to attract top candidates
Ability to work onsite in Doral Monday–Thursday — hybrid schedule is fixed and non-negotiable
Immediate availability — must be ready to start right away
Full commitment to the 3-month contract — with no planned time off during the assignment
Familiarity with ATS systems — especially logging and tracking sourcing activity
