Workforce Planning Systems Analyst
Quanta Power Solutions is a company focused on integrated workforce planning across various staff types. The Workforce Planning Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining workforce planning systems, consolidating data, and producing outputs to support staffing decisions across projects and the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Maintain and administer workforce planning tools, databases, and models used for home office, field, and craft labor planning
Consolidate workforce demand and supply inputs from multiple stakeholders into standardized planning systems
Integrate data from project controls, scheduling, and construction systems as required
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and version control across planning cycles
Build, update, and maintain workforce forecasts aligned with project schedules and execution plans
Perform scenario analysis to evaluate staffing strategies, ramp-up/ramp-down plans, and labor risks
Identify gaps, surpluses, and timing conflicts across job categories, crafts, and locations
Support long-range and near-term workforce planning initiatives
Develop dashboards, reports, and summaries for management review
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Support leadership reviews by preparing workforce metrics, trends, and what-if scenarios
Help define and document workforce planning processes, data standards, and assumptions
Recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and efficiency improvements
Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new workforce planning tools or methodologies
Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
Perform special projects and completes other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, Analytics, Business, or related field
Strong analytical and data management skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with databases, planning tools, or BI platforms
Ability to manage large datasets and multiple inputs with attention to detail
Preferred
3–7 years of experience in workforce planning, project controls, resource planning, or analytics (EPC or construction environment preferred)
Experience supporting both salaried staff and craft labor planning
Familiarity with EPC project lifecycle and construction labor planning concepts
Experience with workforce planning systems, HRIS, scheduling tools, or ERP platforms
SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
