Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Sheltra is building the largest medical malpractice insurance brokerage in the U.S., and they are seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to shape their outbound sales strategies. This role involves engaging with decision makers at medical practices and refining outreach methods to drive sales development as the company scales.

Responsibilities
Own outbound outreach to independent medical practices
Identify and engage key decision makers including practice managers, administrators, and directors of operations
Execute high volume, multi touch outreach across phone, email, and creative channels
Find smart and creative ways to get through to busy practices and gatekeepers
Qualify interest, timing, and fit and set up strong conversations for the founder
Capture insights from conversations to improve messaging and targeting over time
Use modern sales tools and AI native workflows to work faster and smarter
Qualification
Required
Prior experience selling into medical practices or healthcare organizations
Comfort with cold outreach, rejection, and ambiguity
Creativity in getting attention, not just running scripts
High ownership mindset and willingness to experiment
Preferred
Background in insurance, especially property and casualty, is a strong plus
Medical malpractice insurance experience is a bonus, not required
