5+ years expDematic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Center Engineering Technician to join their team and play a pivotal role in the development and success of their product offerings. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for performing a range of tasks from simple to complex engineered prototype builds related to material handling equipment, requiring the ability to follow engineering prints and sketches.

Responsibilities
Perform engineering prototype builds and designs from concept to completion
Work from engineering prints, sketches, and concept ideas
Operate equipment including CNC mill, manual mill, manual lathe, laser, brake press, horizontal and vertical band saws, and MIG/TIG welders
Assemble conveyor loops based on engineered designs
Electrical and controls wiring experience
Utilize Microsoft apps, SAP (S4/HANA), KION Intranet, Teamcenter, and ASC products page
Solve complex and technically demanding problems, escalating only unusual issues
Provide guidance and training to lower-level employees as needed
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
5–8 years of relevant experience in technical or specialty areas
Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and engineering processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and sketches
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex tasks independently

Associate's degree or 1-2 years vocational/technical training preferred
Specialized skill training/certification may be required
