Responsibilities

Greet customers, answer and direct incoming calls, and assist customers walk-in, telephone and internet
Work directly with the Real Estate and Vital Records divisions of the office to answer questions about fees and office functions and processes
File daily correspondence for the Vital Records and prepare office mail for daily pick-up

Required

Graduation from high school or GED
Two years experience in general office work
Preferably one year of experience in dealing with legal instruments
Familiar with the purpose and composition of a variety of legal instruments
Accurate in the details of the work
Courteous in dealing with the public

Preferred

A two year degree with a business administration or clerical emphasis
A higher education level may be considered as a substitution for all or part of the experience requirement
