Supply Chain Data Analyst (contract)

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) Supplier Enablement team. This role develops and maintains reporting, analytics, and data insights that support supplier onboarding and data quality across Ariba, PeopleSoft, and SAP.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and datasets supporting supplier onboarding and P2P processes
Extract, model, and analyze data from multiple systems to support standard reporting and contract/data quality insights
Ensure compliance with data governance standards and help improve data accuracy and reporting processes
Serve as a central reporting resource, managing data sources and maintaining baseline datasets
Document reporting logic, data sources, and processes; test and validate new or updated reports
Support UAT for system/reporting updates and leverage automation tools for efficiency
Provide analytical recommendations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and achieve P2P/SCM goals
Assist with supplier onboarding insights, including understanding supplier profiles, purchase order data, and invoice data
Respond to internal/external inquiries and support initiatives related to diversity, sustainability, and process improvement

Required

Demonstrated experience in reporting, analytics, or data modeling
Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Tableau
Working knowledge of Alteryx
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex datasets and share what nuances/shortcomings/revelations are contained within the data
Strong attention to detail, organization, and sound judgment in analytical decision-making
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment; adapt to change and quickly learn
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
Knowledge and understanding of supplier data and supply chain management lifecycle and basic Supply Chain and the P2P processes
Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships

Preferred

Experience with Power BI, reporting automation, and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Understanding of supplier data, supply chain lifecycle, and P2P processes
Experience with Ariba or PeopleSoft is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Copilot, Outlook, Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, SharePoint)
