Systems Administrator - TAK (Team Awareness Kit)

Responsibilities

Install, monitor and maintain TAK systems within the cloud environment
Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting for TAK-related issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
Train and assist operators in the effective use of TAK applications for mission-critical operations
Develop and maintain processes for the integration of TAK
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data-sharing protocols and address integration challenges
Configure TAK systems to meet mission requirements, including setting up custom geospatial layers, communication channels, and user permissions
Monitor TAK network connections, server performance
Manage TAK software updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure system reliability and security
Serve as a liaison between TAK users Customer leadership to gather feedback and implement system improvements
Document and report integration metrics, operational insights, and system status to stakeholders

Required

US Citizenship is required to obtain a DHS Suitability clearance (high risk rating)
3+ years of experience with TAK in an operational or technical support role
Bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience-MS with 6 years' experience, AS with 10 years' experience, HS with 12 years' experience)
Experience with data integration processes, APIs, and protocols
Strong understanding of network communications, including TCP/IP, multicast, and secure data transmission
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in real-time operational environments
