Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze data from various experiments, including in vitro cell-based assays and functional tissue bath assays
Plan and conduct in vivo studies to support the therapeutic portfolio, including drug formulation and administration through various routes
A key focus of this role is immunohistology, including tissue processing, immunolabeling, imaging, and quantitative analysis
Follow procedures for assignments with general instructions and work under moderate supervision with regular review
Identify activities to support team goals and actively participate and contribute as a team member

Required

A Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with relevant experience
Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation abilities
Proficiency in analysis tools like Excel, GraphPad and PowerPoint for documenting experiments and analyzing/presenting data
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Hands on experience with standard immunohistological methods
Experience in conducting and managing in vivo studies
Knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices of pharmacology

Preferred

Proficiency in script-based data analysis and managing large datasets on advanced platforms beyond Microsoft Excel
Experience with in vivo preclinical research in neurodegeneration/neuroinflammation, basic understanding of immunology/autoimmunity
Excellent time-management skills, demonstrating the ability to adhere to pre-established experimental designs
Capability to develop innovative protocols and methods independently
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to choose between alternatives to solve moderately complex problems
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
