Responsibilities
Provides detailed operational and financial performance insights for Clean Products West Division highlighting areas for improved performance, identifying opportunities to add incremental value and enabling better decision making. Bridge indicative operational P&Ls to GAAP financial P&Ls
Tracks real-time operational and market indicators that provide insights into the current period financial performance; bridges current conditions to anticipated financial results
Accountable for monthly and annual financial planning processes. Leverages monthly/annual operating plans to efficiently create a flexible financial forecast with a high degree of automation. Assimilates large amounts of data utilizing modern digital tools and processes. Financializes operating plans
Acts as a liaison between Clean Products and the Finance/IT organizations to ensure that financial and accounting related activities and services are aligned with the needs of the organization
Develops and maintains a high-performing BP&A team. Sets goals and direction for the team that align with MPC strategic pillars and objectives and monitors performance to accomplish organizational goals. Creates a formal development program to increase the team’s business acumen and analytical skills. Allocates time to coaching and developing team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required
Eight (8) years of experience in Accounting or Finance required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Products
Preferred
Masters, CPA, or MBA preferred
Proficiency in PowerBI preferred
