Responsibilities
Manage portions of daily Accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, merchant accounts, prepaid expense and accrued expenses
Prepare general ledger entries and various balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance issues. Assist in the maintenance of internal controls and documentation
Own day-to-day accounting and cash management responsibilities
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline efficiencies
Provide financial analysis recommendations and ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue to all stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another quantitative field
2+ years of Accounting experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented with analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with an ERP system
