Responsibilities
Coordinate Batching Schedules and Production: Ensure that batching schedules are met and that production aligns with planned timelines
Manufacture Products: Follow formulations provided by the Corporate Office to produce all products accurately
Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment, including keeping installation, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules up-to-date
Ingredient Receiving: Receive and unload ingredients from barges, railcars, and/or trucks at the manufacturing facility
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-organized
Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, company safety rules, and policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school level reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance
Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with various individuals
Ability to work effectively in and promote a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Preferred
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
